Hello, My name is Jourdain-Beau Woods and welcome to Jsoleiproductions based in the Culture Rich City of New Orleans. Here at JSolei we understand that moments make memories thats why the goal is to capture your chosen moments so that they can be enjoyed as lasting memories forever! My start came as a personal Photographer for The McBride Sisters & Black Girl Magic Wine for Essence Fest 2022 which included the Black Women In Sports Brunch Savor & Soul by American Express which led to the opportunity to cover Chef Kwame Onwuachi’s 2nd Annual Family Reunion. I am always excited when projects allow me to meet new people and travel to new places. My inspiration came as I watched my mother, a master seamstress and design enthusiast, meticulously bead elaborate costumes for my family’s Mardi Gras Crew, NOMTOC (New Orleans Most Talked Of Club) which was founded by my grandfather there were timeless behind the scenes moments of detail that caught my eye. The groundwork, color selections, choices in materials, and planning were moments rarely captured since the parade first rolled in 1970. It was in that moment that I knew that I would be a gatekeeper of vibrant memories, and chose photography and its magnificent elements as my destiny.
